About Sayla
Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Sayla moved to the North Shore of Oʻahu at 19, where her tattooing journey began. She later apprenticed in Waikīkī under traditional tattoo artist Matt Towns, learning the foundations of the craft before beginning her career as a full time tattoo artist at 20.
Sayla approaches tattooing with the belief that there is always more to learn. That curiosity continues to shape her work today, from delicate fine line pieces to bold, colorful illustrative designs.
