Meet Glenn
Glenn Emergy is a resident tattoo artist at Kapwa Tattoo Studio in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, specializing in large-scale black and grey realism and fine line work. Originally from a small town in Maine, Glenn has been passionate about art since childhood—drawing portraits and human forms long before picking up a tattoo machine.
For Glenn, people are the most fascinating subjects. His tattoos capture emotion, realism, and subtle storytelling through texture, shading, and flow. After two years of tattooing professionally, Glenn has already built a reputation for creating dynamic, large-format realism tattoos that move naturally with the body.
Tattooing has become his true calling—allowing him to share his artistic vision while connecting deeply with each client’s story. When he’s not in the studio, you can find Glenn out surfing on his longboard, drawing inspiration from Hawai‘i’s ocean energy and rhythm.
